Coaching: A Space to Think

I offer online coaching, or in person for those who can get to Oxford. This is usually monthly but can be more frequent over a short period if preferred. Coaching aims to help us shift the way we think, so we can act differently, find new solutions and untangle seemingly intractable challenges or relationships.

With over 12 years of experience as a leadership coach, I’m acutely aware of the challenges faced in today’s workplaces. I also draw from my continued hands-on experience in founding and leading projects.

I work with individuals at all levels of an organisation, as well as freelancers and individuals looking for their next steps - including career moves or pathways into active and engaged retirement.  Coaching is often short term (4 sessions) over a particular period of change. I do work with some clients over a year a more; this is less goal-oriented and more reflective practice in a safe, non-management environment.

Possible Outcomes of Coaching

The results of coaching will depend on your specific goals and current needs, but may include:

  • Clearly defined personal, professional, or organisational goals

  • More positive feedback from colleagues and others

  • Increased personal motivation, sense of purpose, work-life satisfaction

  • Tangled problems and sticky relationships shaped into webs of good connection and creative solutions

  • Greater confidence in communication with colleagues and external partners

Core Philosophy

I learned the power of coaching first hand when my first experience of being coached led to a complete and unexpected change in my work.

I work with  listening, attention and co-creation. I ask 'what is taking your attention right now?" We identify which issues need working on in order  to put more ease into the systems in which you live and work.  I have accumulated a range of tools to support the process, from my teachers and my work with some brilliant clients. I  bring my own life and work experience to the mix too.  I work systemically looking at interdependencies and zooming out to look at macro issues as well as zooming in to develop practical actions and accountability.

Skills and Experience

I  hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Executive Coaching. I have 12 years of experience and professional development, having trained with renowned coaches in various approaches, including narrative conflict dissolution, organizational constellations, transactional analysis, and NLP.

Working with Annie helped me find direction both professionally and personally. She equipped me with the tools to make choices that had previously left me feeling paralyzed. Through our sessions, I developed new perspectives and achieved a renewed sense of clarity. Annie challenges you in ways that others often overlook, yet those challenges are precisely what you need.”
